What is an autonomous neighborhood?
A core feature of nature is its ability to self-replicate and to produce new patterns from simple rules and relations. Governance by the few have largely left out this powerful natural feature and dynamic.
An autonomous neighborhood establishes agency and a meaningful ability to act and change one's surroundings. Not from a position of leadership, but from a position of cooperation and participation. It structures and enable the power to change our cities, as we change along with it - from the bottom up.
